Lights Out

A cracking supernatural chiller makes the most of a basic premise: an evil ghost that only appears in the dark. Turn on a light and it vanishes… Teresa Palmer, trying to protect herself and her brother, is a strong central character with enough know-how to avoid horror clichés, but flawed enough to be relatable. It’s punchy, jumpy and at a brisk 80 minutes wastes no time getting to its destination.

Put the light on!
