New York-born singer Kelis, 37, has sold six million records around the world, won a Brit award and been nominated for a Grammy.
In 2008, Kelis took a break from music to train at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu cookery school, and released her first cookbook, My Life on a Plate, in 2015.
Kelis performed at Glastonbury festival in 2000 revealing, ‘It rained a lot and there was a sewage situation. It was revolting. I still had to perform in that funk. When I do a festival, in my mind, I’m camping. I do it all the time’.
