Get the covers on the garden furniture – if it’s Glastonbury weekend, there’s bound to be torrential rain! Hopefully that’s not the case, as the festival line-up should mean that the weather is secondary to the music. This year, as always, there’s something for everyone, with today’s opening roster alone featuring everyone from 21-year-old singer Dua Lipa to veteran rockers Status Quo, who will be ‘Aquostic’ on the Acoustic Stage in their first gig since Rick Parfitt died. Tonight there’s extensive coverage on BBC2 and BBC4, with plenty to look forward to over the weekend, including Foo Fighters, Chic, Jamie Cullum, Ed Sheeran and Rag ’n’ Bone Man.
