Welcome to Me

TV Times - - Film Guide -

Kristen Wiig is both funny and touching in this dark comedy about a woman with a borderline personality disorder who buys her own TV talk show after winning the lottery. Wiig is her show’s sole topic, and she uses her platform to rake over decadesold grievances and offer half-baked nutritional advice. The film’s satirical jabs at car-crash TV and extreme oversharing are timely and welcome. Dir: Shira Piven 2014, 15, 95min
