Moving on…
It’s the end of an era at The Rovers this week, as Liz signs over her half of the pub to Peter and Toyah. Saying goodbye to her home and her business is a huge wrench for the landlady, and Sean tries to put a smile on her face by presenting her with a lucky charm to take to her new job – which is over the road at the medical centre, working on reception. It doesn’t quite do the trick, as Liz soon clashes with her boss, Moira, and later struggles to cope with the queue of poorly patients when Moira leaves her on her own. Will she be handed her P45 before the week is out?
