When asked what song he wants played at his funeral Gareth chose Wake Me Up Before You Go-go by Wham!, ‘There’s another side of me that doesn’t want to listen to classical music all the time. I like something frivolous.’
Gareth, 41, has reached number one in the UK charts twice with the Military Wives choir he created in 2011 and with a group of celebrities in 2014 for Children in Need.
