natural world / 3.15pm / BBC2
another chance to see this stunning three-part natural world series about the region of Patagonia that lies at the tail end of South America, with the Andes as its backbone. There is incredible film of animals such as a puma and her cubs, but it’s the awesome landscape that really steals the show. There are aerial views of the 4,000ft-high and 100 mile-wide Andes, ghostly landscapes covered in volcanic dust and enormous glaciers which spew water in the form of powerful waterfalls. Continues tomorrow.
