At last year’s Rio Olympics he achieved his ul­ti­mate goal and won the triple triple – three gold medals at three con­sec­u­tive Olympic Games – and now he bids farewell to his com­pet­i­tive ca­reer with his last in­di­vid­ual race, the 100m fi­nal (9.45pm).
