Man in an Orange Shirt

The action moves to the present day as this drama concludes

TV Times - - Monday -

Drama / 9.00pm / BBC2 The concluding part of this gripping drama brings the action into the present as an ageing Flora (brilliantly played by Vanessa Redgrave) remains scarred by her past and her discovery of her husband’s homosexuality. Unfortunately, Flora’s experiences and resulting prejudices create further woe for her beloved grandson, vet Adam (Julian Morris), who is also gay but tortures himself by having anonymous and sometimes horribly violent encounters with a variety of men. However, there’s light at the end of the tunnel in the form of lovely Steve (David Gyasi), one of Adam’s clients, who might just bring him lasting happiness, if only Flora could bring herself to give her blessing…

Is there a happy ending for Adam and his grandmother Flora?
