It’s been a thrilling 10 days of athletics, in­clud­ing the sight of sprint su­per­star Usain Bolt giv­ing it his all dur­ing his fi­nal sea­son on the track. The World Cham­pi­onships, held at the for­mer Olympic Sta­dium, now known as the London Sta­dium, come to a close to­day with the women’s 5000m and 800m, men’s 1500m, and women’s and men’s 4x400m re­lays among the high­lights. The Scot­tish ladies dom­i­nate Team GB with Eilidh Doyle run­ning the 4x400m and hop­ing to im­prove on the bronze she won at the Rio Olympics last year, while the un­stop­pable Laura Muir will be hop­ing to con­tinue her record-break­ing year in the 5000m.
