meet the Janeites! Two hundred years after Jane Austen’s death, this lovely little film introduces some of the author’s super-fans and finds out why she is so important to them. Sophie, 21, has amassed an impressive collection of memorabilia (‘I could probably open up my own museum’) and is planning a ball to celebrate Jane; period tailor Zack, 22, dresses in Regency-style outfits as a matter of course; and Joana, prolific writer of Austen fan fiction, is excited about meeting American teacher Claudine, who’s coming to England after reading Joana’s work online.

Sophie, you shall go to the ball!
