In this follow-up to the 2010 film, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren star once again as retired black-ops agents having to put down their hobby crafts and return to espionage. Now, the old-timers set out to locate a nuclear device left over from the Cold War, a matter made all the more complicated by Bruce’s old flame, smouldering Russian spy Catherine Zeta-jones, and barmy physicist Anthony Hopkins. There may be fewer chuckles this time and the plot is all too generic, but the stars pull off their roles – supercool ex-agent, paranoid acid casualty and regally glamorous sniper – with the panache you’d expect. Marylouise Parker does well, too, as Willis’ much younger girlfriend. Dir: Dean Parisot 2013, 12 135min
