Aaron versus Jason

The scrap dealer takes on his archenemy in the boxing ring

TV Times - - Soaps -

After bumping into prison thug Jason at the gym last week – who proceeded to wind him up by flirting with bestmate Adam’s ex, Victoria – Aaron Dingle is itching for a fight. But are his weeks of boxing training enough for him to dent his arch-enemy’s ego, or has he bitten off more than he can chew?

As Aaron’s determined to settle old scores, his loved ones are equally determined to talk him out of it. They know that Aaron is prone to self-harm and see this as another way of him hurting himself.

But the scrapyard dealer is not for turning, and when Jason suggests they have a legitimate bout in the ring, Aaron is all for it.

When Robert finds out, he sneakily tries to make Jason cancel the fight by offering him cash – but will the plan work?

‘Boxing has been a saviour for Aaron,’ says Danny Miller, who plays him. ‘Aaron has definitely not gotten over Robert, but he won’t be happy about him interfering behind his back.’

Desperate to save Aaron from a beating, Robert then turns to Cain and asks him to help, but Aaron has made up his mind and nobody can get through to him.

When Aaron finds out that Robert tried to pay Jason off, he’s furious. He wants to fight, no matter what, and after a rousing pep talk from Zak and Adam, he steps into the ring to take Jason on.
