Got to have Faith!
A guilty Pollard makes it official with a Dingle!
Pollard’s come a long way since he spent most of his days watching video footage of Val through a fog of tears. He’s now crazy about Faith Dingle and is thrilled when she says she’s finished with Rodney.
The pair have a heart-to-heart and reveal that they are super keen on each other. Things are sealed with a kiss and a bit more – he’s a devil, that Pollard!
‘He likes her a lot,’ says Chris Chittell, who plays Pollard. ‘But he’s torn. He has a conscience when it suits him and feels bad about the poor Dingles losing their homestead thanks to him.’
Faith is on cloud nine and is dying to tell everyone about her thing with Pollard. He, however, wants to keep it quiet as he’s struggling with his guilt.
‘He is just hoping that Faith doesn’t find out that he has played a part in the golf course plans,’ explains Chris. ‘If she does, then it will cause a lot of damage.’
The Dingles, meanwhile, ask Pollard to help fight the plans. He says he’s powerless, but offers to pay for a lawyer. He then tries to appeal to Morris’ better nature, only he doesn’t have one and threatens to blow the whistle on a previous scandal that Pollard was involved with if the Dingle family don’t accept his offer.
But Lachlan manages to get a journalist to record a meeting between Zak and Morris, then when it goes awry, Zak attacks Morris’ car with a golf club.
Will Pollard come clean about his involvement in the plans?
