Tonight’s episodes work well together as a study of two women sidelined within the women’s liberation movement: Shirley Chisholm (Uzo Aduba) and Betty Friedan (Tracey Ullman). After a disappointing turnout in the initial ballot to choose the Democratic candidate for President, Shirley is pressured to drop out and endorse the front runner. In the second episode, Betty is hurt that her warnings about the threat posed by Phyllis Schlafly are ignored. ★★★★★ SP
