A quicK one
This month’s new entry in our ultimate Music Guide
series is a volume dedicated to the legendary Bob
Marley. The usual format: in-depth new reviews of every Marley and Wailers album, plus a load of incredible interviews from the NME and Melody Maker archives. On sale now! The latest band to receive the high culture treatment will be aBBa, when an “immersive” exhibition called ‘ABBA: Super Troupers’ opens at London’s Southbank Centre from December 14 to April 29. Promised highlights include a recreation of the Polar recording studio in Stockholm, which will be filled with the band’s original instruments and handwritten lyrics. For fans disappointed by merch at the recent UK Kraftwerk shows, consolation is at hand. Canyon have launched a limited-edition bicycle, the Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk. The 21 bikes feature the band’s unique pattern, originated by Ralf Hütter. Yours for £8,999.
alan Vega’s last LP will be out this month. Vega worked on IT with wife Liz Lamere from 2010 until his death in 2016. The tracklist looks very on-point for Suicide fans, with song-titles like “Screamin Jesus” and “Motorcycle Explodes”.
