Shoplifters steal £1,000 of make-up from Boots stores

SUS­PECTED shoplifters op­er­at­ing in Ruis­lip and North­wood have stolen be­tween £800 and £1,000 worth of makeup from Boots stores in three re­cent in­ci­dents.

Po­lice in Ruis­lip are cur­rently search­ing for two peo­ple sus­pected of be­ing in­volved in the thefts from the chemist that hap­pened on Thurs­day De­cem­ber 1 and Tues­day De­cem­ber 6.

The first in­ci­dent hap­pened at around 12.30pm on De­cem­ber 1 at the Boots store, in Ruis­lip High Street.

This was fol­lowed by two of­fences on De­cem­ber 6 at around 3.25pm in Joel Street, North­wood, and an­other in Ruis­lip High Street 20 min­utes later.

On each oc­ca­sion they en­tered the store, walked di­rectly to the cos­met­ics sec­tion and started fill­ing bags with prod­ucts be­fore leav­ing the store and mak­ing no at­tempt to pay.

The Metropoli­tan Po­lice has re­leased im­ages of two peo­ple who may be able to help with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

Any­one who recog­nises ei­ther of th­ese peo­ple is asked to call Ruis­lip Po­lice Sta­tion on 101 and ask for PC Tar­goni.
