The enduring magic of Le Mans

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Le Mans. It’s a tough week of long hours, fast turn-around of images, and a huge track to cover – it’s physically one of the most demanding circuits to get around. However, there are moments throughout the race weekend, such as when I took this picture, as the setting sun illuminated the circuit and the barbecues blew smoke and the scent of sausages across the circuit, that I really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
