Bond Case by Swaine Adeney Brigg From £2095 swaineadeneybrigg.com
This is an exact replica of the case carried by 007 in From Russia With Love: handmade by Swaine Adeney Brigg of London; black bridle leather exterior; red skiver lining. Disappointingly, there are no gold sovereigns secreted in the base, but on balance it’s probably a good thing that the case is not offered with the modifications seen in the film. Very tricky to get through an airport these days with luggage containing an AR-7, throwing knife and tear gas.
Tobias Rehberger Vantage GTE print by Racing Line Designs From £9.50 racinglinedesigns.co.uk
How meta: one of the great modern ‘art cars’ becomes the subject of an artwork itself. This new print from Racing Line Designs features the #97 AMR Gulf Vantage GTE that lined up for Le Mans in 2015 sporting a Tv-test-cardlike pattern devised by award-winning bender-of-minds Tobias Rehberger.
James Bond DB5 by Pop! Vinyl £24.99 forbiddenplanet.co.uk
Not one for the scale-model fanatic, perhaps (those proportions don’t look quite right…), but this new release from Pop! Vinyl’s James Bond collection is a fun desktop companion – plenty robust enough for some enthusiastic vroom-vrooming when work becomes too tedious.
Aston Martin Racing quilted jacket £255 shop.astonmartin.com
Nothing – not even overpriced beer – ruins an early-season day in the grandstand like the slow creep of the cold. This lightweight, down-filled jacket from the AMR collection should ensure that you don’t find yourself wishing you’d stayed home and just watched the blasted race on the television.
