THE lyrics in the Elvis song Heartbreak

VIZ - - Letter Blocks -

Hotel have always struck me as being very poor. Specifically the line ‘I found a new place to dwell’. No one uses the word ‘dwell’ in normal conversation. Obviously, I’m not a professional songwriter but why didn’t they go with something like: Well, since my baby left me, I found a new place to rent, Down at the end of Lonely Street, Made of cement This makes a lot more sense, but does have the drawback that the song would have to be retitled Made Of Cement.
