WALES ACE JOE LOOKS HAIR-HEAD TO FUTURE

WALES star Joe Ledley ended the 2016-17 campaign with a typical battling display as Wales claimed a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Serbia to keep their 2018 World Cup hopes alive.

The midfielder had a mixed season with Crystal Palace, featuring 21 times for the Selhurst Park outfit, scoring his only goal of the campaign in a 3-2 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

He is set to move on to pastures new after he was released following the expiration of his contract with the Eagles, ending his three-year association with the club.

There will no doubt be a host of clubs queuing up to secure the ser- vices of the 30-year-old Welsh international ahead of the 2017-18 season.

And it seems Ledley has already been preparing himself to meet potential suitors.

Having stolen the hearts of the world with his dancing exploits and his magnificent beard during Wales’ stunning run to the semi-finals of Euro 2016, Ledley has made a dramatic change to his appearance.

The Welshman has undergone an FUE (follicular unit extraction) hair transplant.

UK hair restoration firm KSL Hair tweeted the brilliant images of Ledley’s bonce which had been scrawled with marker pen ahead of his makeover, similar to that of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

And it goes without saying that if the hair on the top of his head is half as majestic as that on his chin, the former Cardiff and Celtic man will have every reason to celebrate next season.

A host of clubs are thought to be interested in signing the midfielder, with Ledley recently confirming that he is open to a move abroad.

“There’s been clubs from all over the world in touch with my agent,” said Ledley.

“And I’d be prepared to go abroad, I think it would appeal to me – especially having played international football, because I love playing on that stage and I think it suits the way I play.

“There’s been Championship and Premier League clubs in touch, a lot of interest but I want to have a good summer with the family and go from there.

“I’ve been in the Premier League for three and a half years, but it doesn’t bother me if I stay there because a new challenge would be good.

“Nothing’s been sorted, I’m going to have a great summer with my children and see the options out there and take it from there.”
