Osprey luggage

Wanderlust Travel Magazine (UK) - - CONTENTS -

Packing for any adventure leads to some common dilemmas, not least which piece of luggage to pack it all in. For a city break, most choose a compact wheeler, while more durable kit is a must for an expedition. But gear manufacturer Osprey has solved that puzzle for you with its latest invention. Enter the Rolling Transporter, a duffel bag with wheels – fit for both a swift urban jaunt or epic multicountry odyssey. What’s even better is that Osprey’s giving you the chance to win one…

Versatile ventures

The Rolling Transporter can be taken anywhere and it’ll stand up to the test. That’s because it’s made from Tpu-laminated nylon material that is both durable and waterproof. This means that it can absorb the rigours of a multi-day adventure and also keep your contents dry if you’re caught in the rain. This tough fabric wraps round an even stronger ABS polymer chassis, while bumper-sized wheels mean that it will handle any type of terrain you’re rolling it over.

The case’s barrel-shaped design and internal compression straps makes the most of the generous packing space (it comes in a 40L, 90L or 120L size), while a handy selection of pockets both inside and outside the luggage offer quick and easy access to your passport and documents. However, the luggage’s hybrid design is where it comes into its own. The main compartment opens sideways so you can pack it just like a regular suitcase but the handles and lashing points give the ‘throwaround’ qualities everyone loves about a duffel bag.

Bags of knowledge

With over 40 years of experience, Osprey are experts at crafting packs. A legacy of innovative design lives on in the luggage they produce today. It’s that pioneering desire that has led their gear to be at home in the heights of the Himalaya or in the depths of the Amazon jungle and Osprey’s Rolling Transporter is no different. Its versatility means you can take it anywhere.
