Date is set for summer fete
THE village of Berkswell will hold its annual summer fete on Saturday June 14, from 12-4pm.
Activities will extend from the village green at one end of the village to St John the Baptist Church at the other.
They include a beer tent and live music, with classic car and motorcycle exhibits and a children’s maypole dance.
There will also be assorted stalls and refreshments on sale.
Young visitors can enjoy a free bouncy castle, face painting, games and a bear hunt.
Organisers will also run tours of the Church Tower, offering people a bird’s eye view of the village and the chance to see the bells in the ancient church tower.
