MTV Crashes rocks the Ri­coh

THOU­SANDS of peo­ple en­joyed two nights jam-packed with huge acts as MTV Crashes came to Coven­try.

The huge Ri­coh Arena event saw some of the big­gest per­form­ers and DJs take to the sta­dium stage - with al­most ev­ery­one get­ting a big re­sponse from the crowd.

Indie-rock vet­er­ans Kaiser Chiefs, X-Fac­tor star Fleur East and drum n’ bass band Chase & Sta­tus all per­formed on Satur­day with DJ megas­tars Pete Tong, Wilkin­son and The Chainsmok­ers star­ring on Satur­day night.

The event kick­starts a huge sum­mer of mu­sic at the Ri­coh Arena, with Bruce Spring­steen per­form­ing next Fri­day and Ri­hanna also signed up for the end of June.

A few days af­ter she per­forms the Go­diva Fes­ti­val re­turns with The Boom­town Rats, The Char­la­tans and Scout­ing For Girls all set to play.
