Babyfact can hit heights for Saunders

Warwickshire Telegraph - - FRONT PAGE -

BATH’S card is not equal to the Curragh action but there are two nice events to have a crack at with Babyfact taken to defy her career-high mark in the Control Developments Handicap (Summer Sprint Series Final).

Malcolm Saunders’ runner has won on her last two outings at Sandown and Goodwood and claimed a qualifier for this event off a perch of 58 back in July.

She now races off 71 but is clearly still in excellent heart and ready to hit new heights in her career.

Celestial Path was once most useful, finishing fifth in the 2000 Guineas won by Gleneagles, and while he is not what he was, there might be enough in the tank to take the Boeing Defence UK Conditions Stakes.

Huntlaw is bred to be a Classic winner as a son of Oasis Dream out of northern legend Attraction and although he is a way short of his illustrious parents’ achievements, the totepoolracing Find Us On Instagram Handicap at Chelmsford should be well within his grasp.

Qatar Man will be winning races judged on his debut effort here last month and gets the chance to back up a decent impression in the toteplacepot Racing’s Favourite Bet Maiden Stakes.
