Carers who go above and beyond
A TRAINING firm paid tribute to health and social care apprentices and employers across Coventry and Warwickshire by hosting a special awards evening.
More than 50 people attended the C& W Chamber Training ( CWCT) event, which recognised outstanding apprentices in categories such as Health and Social Care, Medical Administration, Progression of the Year and Employer of the Year Awards.
Jean Woolliscroft from Ben Town Thorn, a care centre in Rugby, was awarded Employer of the Year. It has been providing residential care since 1991 including nursing care, care for younger adults, dementia care, respite care, rehabilitation and assisted living.
