Mum­ford’s the word

BRI­TISH folk band Mum­ford & Sons have an­nounced a huge world tour which in­cludes a show at the NEC on Fri­day, Novem­ber 23. The 60-date tour will then travel to the US, Canada, Aus­tralia and New Zealand, be­fore re­turn­ing for 16 fur­ther dates in ma­jor Euro­pean cities, in sup­port of their up­com­ing al­bum Delta.

Af­ter re­leas­ing their de­but al­bum Sigh No More in 2009, Mum­ford & Sons have re­leased a string of toe-tap­ping folk sin­gles in­clud­ing Lit­tle Lion Man, The Cave, Win­ter Winds and I Will Wait.

And with 2012’s Ba­bel and 2015’s Wilder Mind both reach­ing the top spot in the UK al­bum charts, fans can ex­pect big things from Mum­ford’s lat­est LP, which is due for re­lease on Novem­ber 17.

Tick­ets go on sale to­day, at 10am. They’re priced at £42.50, £53.50 and £64.50 plus a £2.55 ful­fill­ment fee.
