OTHER BROWSERS Export your Opera bookmarks

Web User - - Best New Browser Tools -

For all its innovation and useful tools, Opera was missing a longstanding feature of Chrome, Firefox and even ropey old Internet Explorer: the ability to export your bookmarks as an HTML file. So we’re delighted to announce that version 47 of the browser finally adds this useful option. This makes it easy to back up your favourite websites for safekeeping, and also lets you import them to another browser, should you so wish (there’s no shame in being a browser bigamist, after all). To export your bookmarks in Opera, open the bookmarks manager by pressing Ctrl+shift+b or by clicking the main menu and choosing Bookmarks, ‘ Show all bookmarks’. Select ‘ Export bookmarks’, type in a name for the backup file and click Save. Simple as that!
