bit.ly/360pho­tos431 A 360-de­gree panoramic photo can be thrillingly im­mer­sive, not to men­tion im­pres­sive. Face­book now lets you take your own 360-de­gree shots us­ing its IOS or An­droid apps and post them di­rectly to your Time­line, add them to groups and share them in al­bums. To use the fea­ture, open the app and tap the What’s On Your Mind? box on your Time­line or News Feed. Select the op­tion 360 Photo and use the on-screen guide­lines while you slowly move in a full cir­cle to cre­ate the im­age. You can’t yet use it to cre­ate videos but you can zoom in and tag peo­ple in your pho­tos. It’s also pos­si­ble to up­load precre­ated 360-de­gree im­ages and set them as your Face­book cover photo.
