WINDOWS 10 START MENU

The 12 changes you must make (4 are satisfyingly hard!)

Web User - - Front Page -

Click the Start button to display a column of icons in a panel on the left, then click the three-bar menu icon at the top to expand the list and show text labels displaying the icons’ names, such as Documents, Music, Videos and other folders and items. Right-click any icon in the list and select ‘ Personalise this list’. The Windows Settings app opens showing a list of nine items, with switches to let you choose which icons you want to see displayed in the Start menu.

If you switch all the icons to On, you’ll be able to access all the Start menu’s folders and functions in only two mouse clicks – just click Start, then the icon. Unfortunately, you can’t change the order of the icons.

Choose the items you want to appear in the left-hand side of the Start menu
