Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for a handsome old dog.
Troy is an 11-year-old black collie cross in the care of Dogs Trust in West Calder.
He is currently in a foster home and is waiting to find his special someone who will love him and offer him a forever home.
His carers say Troy likes spending his time lying on the grass in the garden and snoozing under trees for some shade. They say he walks beautifully on the lead and adores going to the beach and woods so he can explore and a have a fun adventure. His favourite food is fish but he loves sausages as a tasty treat.
Troy is looking for an adult-only home with someone who is at home most of the day to keep him company as he enjoys being around people and gets sad when left for too long. Troy is best suited to a quiet home with no children. And although he loves people, he needs time to get time to know them before feeling comfortable with them grooming him.
