Late call from Fauldhouse
Fauldhouse United lost their 100 per cent record start to the season but remain undefeated and at the summit of the Premier League after a dramatic 3-3 draw away at St Andrews United.
The clash was reversed as the Park View pitch was waterlogged, but the visitors got off to a great start as they took the lead in the third minute thanks to David Dunn.
However, they went into the break trailing by two goals.
Scott Orrock levelled things four minutes after they fell behind, with further goals from Derek Wallace and Liam McDaid putting the hosts in the driving seat at half-time. Anthony Higgins, who was introduced at the start of the second half, dragged the away side back into the contest as he bundled the ball home midway through the second half.
Unfortunately, he later suffered an ankle dislocation and was taken to hospital.
Fauldhouse sealed a share of the spoils as defender Sammy Watson netted in the 90th minute.
Jon Connolly’s team will be expected to get back to winning ways this weekend as they travel to an Arniston Rangers side sitting at the foot of the Premier League table and still searching for their first victory.
