Police appeal after car set alight
Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses after a car was deliberately set on fire causing irreparable damage.
The incident of wilful fireraising occurred at around 6am on Sunday, September 17, when an unknown person set to fire to a motor vehicle in Fauldhouse.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.
Detective Constable Lee McCall of Livingston CID said: “Thankfully no persons were hurt as a result of the fire, however significant damage has been caused to personal property as a result and enquiries are ongoing.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or anybody acting suspiciously at the time of the incident, and similarly for anyone with any further information relevant to this investigation to contact police immediately.”
