The youths have been reported to be involved in the thefts of wheelie bins and setting them alight in the parks and wooded area in Livingston Village.
There has also been signs of alcohol being involved.
Police Sergeant Iain Wells said: “Following complaints received regarding the conduct of some young persons the police will be providing additional attention to the Livingston Village area.
“We have established the names of some of those involved, who are from a Livingston secondary school and they will be getting a visit.
“I would like to encourage parents throughout the Livingston area to have a discussion with their children as to where they are going and what they are doing when out in the evenings.”
