Support their race night

A group of charity champions are inviting people along to their latest event.

The Marie Cur ie Bathgate and Livingston District Fundraising Group are holding a race night on October 7 to raise money for the charity.

The group has been fundraising for over four years by holding race nights and other events throughout the year as they continue to raise awareness of the care and support Marie Curie provides for people living with a terminal illness and their families in their local community.

The race night is being held at Polkemmet Social Club, Whitburn, from 7.30pm until 12pm (first race at 8pm) and the evening will include Irish bingo, a raffle and prizes.

Tickets are £ 2 and include a mince pie and can be bought from the club, the Marie Curie Shop in Bathgate or by calling the office on 0131 4702290.

“The money raised on the night by our Bathgate & Livingston District Group will help us provide care and support to people living with a terminal illness.”
