Music and fun to delight audiences

Shows set for Livingston this autumn

A feast of entertainm­ent is on the way at Howden Park Centre in Livingston next month.

Among the shows will be a tribute to one of country music’s legendary singers.

Patsy Cline and Friends will see Sue Lowry perform as Patsy Cline, joined by Lee Davidge who gives a sensitive performanc­e as Jim Reeves and Marc Robinson as the granddaddy of country music Hank Williams.

Hear incredible favourites of days gone by, such as, ‘Crazy’, ‘I Fall to Pieces’, ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Welcome to My World’, ‘Move it on Over’ plus many more popular hits

Music will be delivered by The Moonshine Boys Band.

The show will take place on Sunday, October 15, at 7.30pm.

Tickets priced £18.50 foradult, £17.50 for seniors, students and unwaged or £10 for under-16s.

Family fun will be provided by The Three Musketeers on Thursday, October 19.

Chaos, mayhem and stupidity reign supreme as the Three Half Pints swish their swords, polish their boots and flourish their feathers in their most ridiculous adventure yet.

Will they defeat the dastardly evil- doers? Will they save the damsel in distress? Will they actually read the book before writing the show? Join the CBeebies’ favourites ( Justin’s House, Spot Bots) It’s sure to be a hilarious new slapstick adventure of chivalry, swordplay and suddenly falling over. The shows takes place at 1.30pm, with tickets priced £11, £9 for concession­s or £36 for a family ticket of four.

The rock’n’roll of the 1950s will be brought back to the stage with a special tribute act.

Buddy Holly and The Cricketers will bring the breathtaki­ng show has rock ’n’ rolled audiences across the globe to Livingston.

And it’s guaranteed to have everyone singing along and dancing in the aisles. . The show stars some of the finest actor- musicians in the UK, whose combined West End credits include ‘Buddy’, ‘Lennon’, ‘Forbidden Planet’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’.

Endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly act when the boys guested on BBC One’s Saturday night programme, ‘The One and Only’, hosted by Graham Norton.

The performanc­e takes place on Thursday, October 19, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £ 16.50 or £14.50 for concession­s.
