Fam­ily his­tory work­shops prov­ing pop­u­lar

To cel­e­brate 2017 be­ing the year of His­tory, Her­itage and Ar­chae­ol­ogy, the West Loth­ian Fam­ily His­tory So­ci­ety vol­un­teers have been run­ning work­shops through­out West Loth­ian li­braries.

These work­shops are free and open to any­one.

You will be shown the best web­sites to use and how to use these web­sites ef­fec­tively, hope­fully en­abling you to go on and con­fi­dently use these re­sources in­de­pen­dently.

They are also avail­able to as­sist con­fi­dent re­searchers who find them­selves ‘stuck’ with their re­search.

The fi­nal work­shop is at Brox­burn Li­brary, from 10am to 12.30pm next Satur­day (Novem­ber 18).
