Po­lice probe house break-in

po­lice are ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses fol­low­ing a breakin in Liv­ingston. the in­ci­dent hap­pened be­tween 2pm and 11.30 pm on Fri­day (novem­ber 24) at a house in sil­ver birch glade, Adambrae.

a three-fig­ure sum of Eu­ros and some jew­ellery was stolen.

Com­mu­nity In­ves­ti­ga­tion unit of­fi­cers are con­duct­ing in­quiries and any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to come for­ward.

Con­sta­ble tony gilhoo­ley from the Com­mu­nity In­ves­ti­ga­tion unit said: “as part of this on­go­ing in­quiry we are keen to hear from any­one who may have seen any sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­ity in the area of sil­ver­birch glade dur­ing Fri­day af­ter­noon or evening.

“In ad­di­tion, any­one who is ap­proached by in­di­vid­u­als look­ing to sell on Eu­ros and jew­ellery, please also con­tact po­lice im­me­di­ately. We are par­tic­u­larly keen to speak to any­one who may have CCtV or dash-cam footage cap­tur­ing any po­ten­tial sus­pects or sus­pi­cious ve­hi­cles.”
