Cash boost for Bliss

over 100 peo­ple turned out in sup­port of a char­ity walk for pre­ma­ture ba­bies held in Liv­ingston - and raised over £2800.

the Lit­tle Lights walk held in aid of char­ity Bliss raised the money on World pre­ma­tu­rity Day and com­mu­nity am­bas­sador for Bliss, Coady Dor­man, hailed its suc­cess.

Coady, from Whit­burn, said: “the walk was a mas­sive suc­cess, with over 100 peo­ple at­tend­ing from tiny ba­bies not long out of st John’s SCBU, to tod­dlers and above, as well as all their fam­i­lies.

“We also had the plea­sure of wel­com­ing our lo­cal Mp Han­nah Bardell as well as Miss West Loth­ian, Jade. the sup­port for Bliss and World pre­ma­tu­rity day was phe­nom­e­nal this year and to­tals from the day came in at a whop­ping £2820.81.

“an amaz­ing amount go­ing to the char­ity to help fam­i­lies all over the coun­try.”

Wth more do­na­tions still to come in the fi­nal to­tal could reach over £3000.

Coady said: “I ac­tu­ally can’t be­lieve still how much sup­port we got this World pre­ma­tu­rity Day.”
