Cash boost for Bliss
over 100 people turned out in support of a charity walk for premature babies held in Livingston - and raised over £2800.
the Little Lights walk held in aid of charity Bliss raised the money on World prematurity Day and community ambassador for Bliss, Coady Dorman, hailed its success.
Coady, from Whitburn, said: “the walk was a massive success, with over 100 people attending from tiny babies not long out of st John’s SCBU, to toddlers and above, as well as all their families.
“We also had the pleasure of welcoming our local Mp Hannah Bardell as well as Miss West Lothian, Jade. the support for Bliss and World prematurity day was phenomenal this year and totals from the day came in at a whopping £2820.81.
“an amazing amount going to the charity to help families all over the country.”
Wth more donations still to come in the final total could reach over £3000.
Coady said: “I actually can’t believe still how much support we got this World prematurity Day.”
