Loyal cus­tomers of a Bath­gate pub have raised £1620 for char­ity.

pa­trons of the royal Bar en­joyed a full day of fundrais­ing for the Ms so­ci­ety last Wed­nes­day, which in­cluded mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment, raf­fles and a buf­fet.

and brave paul Cairns, the part­ner of bar­maid sab­rina stephen, went above and be­yond the call of duty when he had his chest waxed by the girls from Im­ages beauty salon.

Bar man­ager Mary McKale thanked every­one who had got be­hind the an­nual fundraiser.

she said:“It was a fan­tas­tic day, every­one re­ally en­joyed them­selves.

“I want to thank every­one who came along and the lo­cal busi­nesses who do­nated some great prizes.

“We hold a fundraiser ev­ery year for a dif­fer­ent good cause, last year it was for Macmil­lan and next year it will be for the sick Kids.

“We picked the Ms so­ci­ety this year be­cause one of our staff mem­bers sadly lost their son and we have a lot of good cus­tomers who also have Ms.”

the bar will be hold­ing its an­nual Christ­mas party for pen­sion­ers on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 20, from 2pm to 6pm.

En­try is free and there will be a buf­fet, karaoke and prizes.
