Livingston Rugby Club’s youth teams had their last weekend of the Galant Mitsubishi Conference.

First up were the under-18 team, and while they were all set to go on Saturday, the frost played its part and by kick-off the park was unplayable and the game was rightly called off.

The under-16 side were up against a very strong Cartha team who left as winners of the conference following their 45-12 win.

Livi’s tries came from Ewen Steel and Henry Forehand with Kayne MacAulay adding a conversion.

Coach Gary Murchison said:“We made Cartha work hard for all their points and we can hold our heads high after that performance.”

Livi’s under-15s were awarded the game as Cartha were unable to field a side while the under-13 and 14 sides had away fixtures at Cartha.

The under-13s suffered a 34-4 loss while the under-14s were just edged out 15-11.

West Lothian Girls were at home to Auchterarder in what was a very physical game.

Emma Lumsden scored for the home side early in the first half but that was all they could muster despite a spirited display, losing 35-5.
