The cost includes a refreshment. “Pins & Needles” knitting and sewing (BYO) meets on Mondays from 10.30am – noon, cost £1.50. “The Lunch Club” with a 3 course meal plus activities meets on Tuesdays from 12-3pm, cost £5 for lunch and afternoon refreshment. “Singing for Health” meets on Wednesdays from 10.30am-12, cost £1.20. “Indoor Bowls” meets on a Wednesday from 1pm-2.30pm, cost £1.50. “Craft Group” meets on Thursdays from 10.30am-12, cost £1.50. “Mix n Match Indoor Games” (pool, darts, boules etc) meets on Thursdays from 2pm-3pm, cost £1.50 and the “Mens Group” meets on Fridays from 10.30am-12.30pm, cost £2 which includes refreshment and light lunch. Craigshill Community Council meets on the 2nd Wednesday in the month, except January and July at 7.15pm at the Almondbank Centre. The office-bearers are Ian Buchanan (Chair), Wilma Pincott (Vice Chair), Rose McAulay (Secretary), David Gilmour (Treasurer) and Craig Hume (Planning Secretary). First Step One Stop Project is based at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Almondbank. We work in close partnership with West Lothian Women’s Aid to provide a tailored money advice service to individuals, both male and female, who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse. We can offer assistance with housing options, debt and money advice, budgeting, Legal and family issues, social security benefit/appeal.
