Armadale Baptist Fellowship meet from 7-9pn on Sunday evenings in the Methodist Church Hall (East Main Street) for informal contemporary worship and simple Bible teaching. Everyone is welcome, although children must be accompanied by an adult. We extend a special welcome to those who are unable to attend regular Sunday morning worship due to work commitments, and those looking for a spiritual home. Memory Cave Café The café takes place within Armadale Community Centre and Library for people with dementia and their carers and is supported by Alzheimer Scotland and run by volunteers from the Armadale community. The cafe takes place on the 3rd Friday of the month and the date for the next café is Friday 20 July and is a place where carers and family members can drop in at any time between 10am – 12 noon. The cafe provides a place to meet where people understand dementia, gain peer support and information, and enjoy a good blether with a varied programme each month which includes games, quizzes music and crafts. Carers or family members with someone they are caring for with dementia are always made most welcome. Please note the café is on holiday on Friday 17 August but resumes again on Friday 21 September. A gentle but effective workout that flows smoothly through movements designed to improve mobility, flexibility and balance. Medication in motion. Knit and Natter Knit for charity in Armadale Methodist Church Hall on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 2pm – 4pm. Even if you don’t knit why not come along and enjoy a cuppa and a chat. Choir The Network Juniors Choir normally practice in Armadale Parish Church hall and have spaces for Primary 4 to S4 boys and girls to sing, act, perform and raise money for charity. They meet every Thursday in Armadale Parish Church Hall from 3.15pm-4.30pm but are now in summer recess and resume again on Thursday 23 August, so why not come along and join this very lively choir. Interchurch Fellowship Group The Churches of Armadale Fellowship Group meet in the Methodist Church on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm. All welcome. Armadale Thistle A fund raising prize bingo will take place on Friday 13 July in the Cavalier with doors opening at 7.30pm and eyes down at 8pm. Faith Mission the monthly meeting of the Faith Mission will take place tomorrow Friday at 7.30pm in the home of Miss Anne Lochhead at 39 Graces Wynd, Armadale.
