Fair­trade Cafe wel­comes any­one who would like to join us on a Tues­day morn­ing between 10am and 12 noon in the Gle­nal­mond Hall where home bak­ing is on sale and all funds raised go to street chil­dren of Peru c/o the Vine Trust. Come along and help us to pro­mote fair trade and make new friends. The Fair Trade café is run by the Kirk of Calder. Cloth­ing bank is sit­u­ated to the front of the Gle­nal­mond Hall. Please bring any good qual­ity clean clothes, belts, paired shoes, ties, hand­bags (in a bag) and place in the recycling bank. Liv’n Har­mony Singers is an adult choir with a dif­fer­ence. Meets on a Thurs­day evening 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Black Bull, Mid Calder where the em­pha­sis is on fun and laugh­ter as much as singing. Liv’n Har­moneez Kids and Teen Choir is an ex­cit­ing choir which meets on Thurs­day nights in The Black Bull Func­tion Suite, Mid Calder. Run­ning from 6.10pm to 7.10pm and led by lo­cal Mu­sic Teacher, Al­li­son Barr this prom­ises to be a choir full of fun and laugh­ter as well as learn­ing skills in singing and vo­cal pro­duc­tion.
