Glen­mavis Bowl­ing Club’s A team came up trumps in their Bath­gate Fri­day Night League fix­ture against their own B team, sealing an 8-1 vic­tory.

Else­where, there was a fine 7-2 home win for the Kirknew­ton Innkeep­ers against Cop­pies Bar A, while Cop­pies Bar B made sure it wasn’t a dou­ble de­feat as they grabbed a 6-3 away win at Cor­rie Bar B.

Andy Thom­son was on fine form with 14 and 17 dart legs, while Jamie Banks, Scott Bail­lie, John Bro­gan and Gary Christie all fired 180 max­i­mums.

Micky Burke and Andy Pagget led the way with high­est fin­ishes of 85.

In the West Calder and Dis­trict Darts League, it was a night for closely con­tested matches with three fix­tures go­ing right down to the wire.

There was a 5-4 win for the Tower Bar Knights against the Deans Bowl­ing Club Golden Oldies, while Com­mer­cial Inn Ju­niors also sealed the deal in sim­i­larly close fash­ion against Stir­rup Stane In­di­ans.

The Mur­ray Bar Crofters kept up their good run of form with an­other nail-biter, win­ning 5-4 at home to the Kirknew­ton Innkeep­ers. Caw­burn Steam­ers grabbed their first points of the sea­son with a fine 6-3 win over the Doo Club Fanciers.
