Bathgate and West Calder round-ups
Glenmavis Bowling Club’s A team came up trumps in their Bathgate Friday Night League fixture against their own B team, sealing an 8-1 victory.
Elsewhere, there was a fine 7-2 home win for the Kirknewton Innkeepers against Coppies Bar A, while Coppies Bar B made sure it wasn’t a double defeat as they grabbed a 6-3 away win at Corrie Bar B.
Andy Thomson was on fine form with 14 and 17 dart legs, while Jamie Banks, Scott Baillie, John Brogan and Gary Christie all fired 180 maximums.
Micky Burke and Andy Pagget led the way with highest finishes of 85.
In the West Calder and District Darts League, it was a night for closely contested matches with three fixtures going right down to the wire.
There was a 5-4 win for the Tower Bar Knights against the Deans Bowling Club Golden Oldies, while Commercial Inn Juniors also sealed the deal in similarly close fashion against Stirrup Stane Indians.
The Murray Bar Crofters kept up their good run of form with another nail-biter, winning 5-4 at home to the Kirknewton Innkeepers. Cawburn Steamers grabbed their first points of the season with a fine 6-3 win over the Doo Club Fanciers.
