West Lothian Chargers Flag American Football team are hosting a training session for any new players looking to get involved in the sport.

Flag football is a non-contact five-a-side version of American football so allows players the chance to take part in the sport but without the risk of injuries from big hits that are frequent in the fully kitted version of the game.

The rookie session will take place from 10am-noon on Sunday, November 25 at Riverside Primary School in Livingston and is open to everyone aged 16 or over.

West Lothian Chargers coach Neil Roy-Warren said:“The Chargers have been accepted into the league next season after taking a year out so it’s an exciting time to be part of the club if anyone is looking to join.

“We’re hoping to boost numbers and have a talented squad heading into the new season next year.”
