Partner sought for development
A development partner to help make the county council’s vision for Horsham Enterprise Park a reality is being sought.
The ‘highly skilled and experienced’ partner will work side-by-side with the council to successfully deliver up to 300 homes, 25,000 square metres of employment floorspace as well as community facilities and other services on the Parsonage Road site.
West Sussex County Council secured outline planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Novartis site back in 2019 from Horsham District Council.
Paul Marshall, leader of the county council, said: “This is an exceptional opportunity to join with the council in making our vision for one of the most exciting development sites in the county a reality.
“The successful bidder will have the chance to deliver an exemplar scheme in an excellent location, which is in the heart of the Gatwick Diamond.
“We are seeking a partner with sound financial capability and a long-term commitment to work sideby-side with the council.
“We believe this is the best way to successfully deliver the scheme’s ambitions and to provide wider benefits to residents and businesses in the area.”
