Can we assume a change of plan?
Horsham District Council’s glossy magazine ‘Our District’ landed on my doormat this morning. It’s always an interesting read.
I was particularly pleased to see the article about the new partnership between Horsham District Council and Sussex Wildlife Trust. The project is called ‘Wilder Horsham District’ and it aims to ensure that wildlife throughout Horsham District thrives as a result of this new initiative.
Can we now assume, therefore, that the possibility of concreting over Rookwood Golf Course for a housing development of up to 1,000 homes will now be abandoned?
After all, Rookwood is one of the wildlife jewels in Horsham District’s crown and it sits right next to Warnham Nature Reserve, another jewel, which would be badly affected
