33 Friday, July 10, 2020 WESTERN DAILY PRESS Public Notices PROPERTY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A303 TRUNK ROAD (PODIMORE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITIO­N OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A419 TRUNK ROAD (WHITE HART TO TURNPIKE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIO­N AND PROHIBITIO­N OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A419 trunk road in the Borough of Swindon to allow bridge works and associated maintenanc­e works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take place, commencing on or after 28 July 2020 and be completed 28 August 2020. The effect of the Order would be: (a) to authorise the overnight (20.00 to 06.00) and weekend (Friday 21.00 to Monday 06.00) closure of: (i) the A419 northbound from White Hart Roundabout to Turnpike Junction; (ii) the A419 southbound from Lady Lane Junction to White Hart Roundabout; (iii) the northbound entry and the southbound exit slip roads at White Hart Roundabout; (iv) the northbound exit and entry slip roads at Rat Trap Junction; (v) the northbound exit slip road at Turnpike Junction; (vi) the southbound entry slip road at Lady Lane Junction; (vii) the southbound entry and exit slip roads at Honda (South) Junction; (viii) the layby 75 metres south of the junction with Hyde Road; (b) to impose a mandatory 50 miles per hour speed limit on: (i) the A419 northbound from 600 metres south of Highworth Road Underbridg­e to 60 metres north of Highworth Road Underbridg­e; (ii) the A419 southbound from 600 metres north of Highworth Road Underbridg­e to 60 metres south of Highworth Road Underbridg­e; (iii) the northbound exit slip road at Rat Trap Junction. During the closure traffic would be diverted via the A4312, B4006, B4143 and A4311. The closure (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles), speed limit and width restrictio­ns would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place. The works are expected to take place overnights (20.00 to 06.00) commencing on or after 13 July 2020 and be completed by 25 July 2020. The effect of the Order will be the closure of the A303 eastbound and westbound between the A37 Ilchester Junction and the B3151 Camel Cross Junction. During the closures, traffic will be diverted via the A37 and B3151. The closure (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works. The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 27 July 2020 and be completed by 30 July 2020. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the closure (between 8.00pm and 6.00am) of the M5 Junction 27 southbound exit slip road. During the closures traffic would be diverted via Junctions of the M5 and local roads. The closures (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place. The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of the M32 Junction 3 northbound entry and southbound exit slip roads.
