Western Mail - - NEWS -

STEREOPHONICS are to head out on a major UK arena tour early next year, with two big homecoming gigs in Cardiff among the dates.

The mega-selling Valleys band are to appear at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday, March 6, and Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Tickets will go on sale at 9am next Friday. The Cwmaman rockers recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their 1997 debut LP Word Gets Around and are gearing up for the release of their latest album, Scream Above The Sounds, which is due for release on October 27.

Primarily recorded in the band’s west London HQ, the new record – the band’s 10th – follows in the footsteps of 2015’s chart-topping Keep The Village Alive, which became their sixth number-one album after Performance and Cocktails (1999), Just Enough Education To Perform (2001), You Gotta Go There To Come Back (2003), Language. Sex. Violence. Other? (2005) and Pull The Pin (2007).
